Antonio Soto Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Aug. 7 to Aug. 12, 2023.
Antonio Ramon Soto, 36, passed away on 07/28/2023. Born September 17th, 1986 in Philadelphia, PA, he lived a life full of adventures. Known as Tony by all of his friends, family and colleagues. Tony accomplished a lot at an early age such as meeting Miss America and obtaining above black belt level in Tai Kwan Do. While still in school he was a Summer Camp Counselor and took part in the wrestling and football teams. Tony found a job at the Library for the Blind which he thoroughly enjoyed during his high school years as well. Graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School and well known to the hearing impaired community. He had a knack for working with electronics; from taking computers apart and putting them back together to diagnosing computer issues and repairing them. He was an avid gym goer and enjoyed health and fitness for quite some time. Tony attended HVAC school and pursued a career in the field that lead him to secure a position at Fort Dix Military Base with Pride Industries for over a decade. Tony loved to travel and his favorite place of peace was Puerto Rico. Everyone he came in contact with remembered him for something good. Many report he was a nice and fun loving guy, generous at heart. Tony was predeceased by sister Anjeanette Maldonado, 17. He is survived by both parents and sister. As we grieve and wave goodbye to our brother and son as he sails his boat to the other side, may we remember that on the other side is the family that have gone on before us, waiting to see his face. Services will be held at Rodriguez Funeral Home (1101 E Erie Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19124) on Tuesday August 8th at 9:30am-11am with burial to follow.

Tony was one of the sweetest people I know. No matter how long it had been, he always showed love like it was just yesterday when he saw me. His kindness and genuine interest made me feel special. May you rest in peace. You are loved and missed.
