AQUILA LOUISE LINTZ HODGE

August 8, 1920 – August 6, 2017

Aquila Louise Lintz Hodge born August 8, 1920 in Davison, Michigan to Lee and Pearl Lintz, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 6, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. She married the love of her life, Earl E. Hodge, on March 2, 1941 and was happily married for 63 years. She is survived by her loving son, James E. Hodge (Vicki) of Phoenix, Arizona; Daughter-in-law, Frances Calloway Hodge of Centerville, Georgia.

Preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Hodge, son David E. Hodge, father and mother, 3 sisters and 2 brothers: Catherine Lintz Sanford (Elton); Wanda Lintz Benson (Al), Doris Lintz Easton (Russell); Ardis Lintz Day (Chuck); Jim Lintz (Iva and Ruth); Lee Lintz (Vicky).

Also survived by 7 Grandkids and 14 great grandkids: Marc J. Hodge, Kelsey, Carter; Kristen A. Hodge Johnson, Katie, Emily, Mallory, JW; Jason C. Hodge (Carrie), Colleen, Gracie; Keri S. Hodge Bohlken (Jon), Lexi; Andrea Hodge; Dan LaBean (Karen), Brandon, Ryan; David LaBean (Tina) Sarah, Robert, Scott. 3 step-grandkids and 7 step-great grandkids: Kristin L. Hodges Fleming (Benjamin); Nathan, Bryce, Jace; Kimberly D. Hodges Kenia (Tommy) Brandon, Erinn, Ella, Brooklyn; Kaycee D. Hodges Johnson (Paul) and several nieces and nephews.

Louise graduated from Davison High School in 1938. She was a 50 year member of Davison First Baptist Church. She owned and operated Louise's Beauty Shop in Davison before moving to Arizona in 1985.

Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Care Nursing Center or Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mom and Jim you as well as the rest of the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Grandma Hodge was a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed. Take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with Grandpa and Dave and is walking with the Lord now. We love you. Kimmie, Tommy and kids
