Arlene Bucher Obituary

SELINSGROVE -- Arlene M. Bucher, 77, of Grayson View, and formerly of New Market St., Freeburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at 2:14 p.m. at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Lester R. and Grace A. (Bailey) Leitzel. On Dec. 24, 1948, she married Robert G. Bucher, who preceded her in death on May 31, 2006.
She was a 1948 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
Arlene was employed and retired from Kemberling Foods, in Hummels Wharf.
She was a lifetime member of Zion's Church, of Kratzerville.
Arlene enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts; she was an excellent cook and loved to dance. She enjoyed spending time and talking with her family and friends.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Larry and Gloria Bucher of Freeburg, Kelly and Celina Bucher of Sunbury, Darryl and Faye Bucher of Middleburg, and Craig Bucher of Freeburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Frank Dietterick of Selinsgrove, and Pam and Chuck Hoke of Freeburg; 12 grandchildren, Amy, Ross, Kelly II, Jonathan, Crystal, Kimberly, Shawn, Eric, Dean, Chad, Brandon, and Tiffany; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Erma Smith of Selinsgrove; and one sister-in-law, Faye Leitzel;
She was preceded in death by twins in infancy; one brother, Robert Leitzel; one sister, Alice Beaver; and two brothers-in-law, Grover Smith and Frank Beaver.
Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11 with Rev. Dr. John Radke officiating.
Burial will be in Zion's Reformed Church Cemetery.
