Born on July 29, 1931 in New Berlin, New York, Arlene lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and grace. She was known for her independence, gentle spirit, fierce loyalty, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and heard.

She dedicated her life to her family - raising her children, caring for her husband after he was impeded by Multiple Sclerosis, being the family monarch; and serving her community. She loved being outside especially working on her flowers and gardens. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the values she instilled.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Ingersoll Jr, her sister Audrey Eddy, her son-in-law Charles Helms Jr, and her great grandson Nathaniel Helms.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 12pm to 4pm at Puritan Back Room Restaurant, 245 Hooksett Road, Manchester, NH, where friends and family will gather to celebrate her life and share stories of the joy she brought into the world. A luncheon will be served about 2pm.
