I met Rabbi Arnold in the summer of 1947 when I was asked to assist him in officating as Rabbi of a small community in southern Pennsylvania for the high holidays.
we were both young around age twenty.
I saw in him the potential of him being an eloquent
smart and erudite Rabbi and person.
Our paths met several times when he officiated at all my
daughter-s wedddings
his career was highly distinguished and he will always be remembered
for his warm ,kindness leadership, and scholarship.

No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing God is with you and your family lean on him in your time of need. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences.

Rabbi Marans was my Rabbi, my advisor and friend....When I needed his rabbinical advise prior to the Bar Mitzvah of my son, at the Sephardic Temple, Rabbi Marans gave it to me with all his heart. He was very special and I will never forget him.
