Arthur N. Curren, age 78 of N. Ridgeville, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a long illness. He was born May 6, 1928 in Galion, Oh. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 45 years having moved from Cleveland. He worked as a Aeronautical/Aerospace research engineer for NASA Lewis Research Center for 43 years retiring in 1995. Mr. Curren was a Past Chairman of the N. Ridgeville Planning Commission, Past President of Fields School PTA and had served as a Deacon of First Congregational United Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife of 49 years Norma D. (nee DeChellis) 2 daughters, Camilla Curren MD, of Worthington, Constance Curren Strozsak D.V.M. of Lakewood; 2 Son in law, Thomason Smith, and John Strozsak Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Andrew Curren-Smith, John Arthur Strozsak, Ashton Curren-Smith, David Alexander Strozsak; and his Sister, Mildred Hickel of Westlake. He was preceded in death by Parents, Orr and Lenora Curren. Friends will be received 10:30 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM Saturday at First Congregational United Church of Christ 36363 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville, where a reception will follow in the Church fellowship hall. Private internment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Rev. John Fairweather, Pastor will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 10501 Euclid Ave. Cleveland OH 44016-2204 or American Heart Assoc. P.O. Box 163549 Columbus, OH 43216-3549.
