I met Art around 1973 when I was staying at are cabin on Clearwater Lake. At that time he and his family owned and lived on the portage at the north end of Clearwater. We became close friends sharing many interests and our love of the north country. I wish I could see and talk to him one more time. He's going to be deeply missed.
