The world was a better place having Jerry "Shinbone Magooboo" Stackard in it. He was my employer, mentor, supporter and friend. His absence from our lives is great, but the impact he had and impression he left is far greater. Not one day goes by without me living as an example of things Jerry instilled in me. : "Do what you can, until you can do what you want", "Work is easier when you make it fun" and "Work smarter not harder" . These may not have been Arthur's own ideas, but he took the time to drill them into my head and teach me how to apply them practically. I feel great loss , which is merely a fraction of what the family must feel. Mourn his passing, but then continue to spread his legacy by applying what he has shared with each of you in your lives. I will! Make the world a better place, he did!

My first fond memories of "Jerry" is remembering a young blond haired, blue eyed child riding his sisters bike up the street. The bike being too large for him to manage, didn't stop him from accomplishing what he had set out to do. Get up the hill. This goal setting was one of his most endearing qualities, he never gave up. Apart from being an uncle, grandfather, father, brother and a son this fair haired young boy grew up to be a wonderful man. Taken away from us far too soon the wonderful memories will last forever. The journey up the hill is over and a new one will begin.
My thoughts a prayers are with you today and always.
With love and fond memories,
Auntie Les

Dear Stackard Family,
It was with deepest sorrow that I learned that "Jerry" has been called home so soon. Many fond memories will be held dear. I was just the "babysitter" to Tara- Tony and Chantal at times, but loved the memories those year created. My thoughts and prayers are with you Rosa, Alex, Nora, Tara - Leslie, Bonnie- and all your families. I hope knowing that others care very much for your sorrow, helps you over your grief. May the love of family and friendship surround you today and always.
With a tear of sorrow and the joy of once calling him "friend"
Karen (Chugg) Stoddart.
