Arthur Williams Jr.,50, of Kempner and formerly of Killeen, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23 in his home next to the love of his life.
Funeral services with full military honors for Mr. Williams will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. A visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Arthur, or "Will" as he was known, was born on February 1, 1964 in McCormick, South Carolina to Arthur Williams Sr. and Daisy Hill Williams. He was raised in South Carolina and joined the Army in 1984 in Baltimore, Md. Mr. Williams served in the Army and later in the Texas National Guard until his retirement in 2003. While stationed in Germany, Will met and married Angela Gae Deck in 1990. In their 24 years of marriage, they were blessed with two wonderful children, Christa and Aaron. After retirement from the military, Mr. Williams worked for the Killeen ISD and for the city of Killeen water department until May of this year. Will loved the outdoors and country living, often tending to the families animals and garden. He also loved fishing with his wife and Dallas Cowboy's football.

Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Angela. He is also survived by his daughter Christa Ann Rodriugez and her husband Ricky of Virginia, his son Aaron Williams of Kempner, his son Daryl Quarles of Greenwood, South Carolina, and his daughter Shannon Williams of Maryland. He is also survived by his parents and four grandchildren.


Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove is in charge of the arrangements.
