Arthur Winters Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 22, 2025.
Arthur Winters, of Attalla, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, at the age of 62. Born in Concord, New Hampshire, on November 6, 1962, Arthur proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, receiving an honorable discharge in February 1985. He was a 1980 graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School and worked for many years at Goldkist.

Arthur was married to his best friend and soulmate, Sharon Winters, for 41 wonderful years. Together, they raised two children-Arthur Winters Jr. and Jennifer Winters-whom he loved deeply.

He is also survived by his siblings: Gail (Daniel) Kace, Shirley (David) Ryder, and Robert (Linda) Winters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom will remember him for his infectious sense of humor and warm heart.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beverly Winters.

A special thanks to Tranny Arnold.

The family would like to extend special thanks to his hospice nurse, Tonya Cook, and the entire team at Southern Care New Beacon for their compassionate care during his final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Arthur's memory and the lasting impact he had on the lives of those who knew him.

So happy to have had many memories of riding our bikes, summers in the pool and the practical jokes... yes, even the time you put a worm on my pillow. Miss you my buddy
