Ashley Nicole Sims

Ashley Nicole Sims, born November 22, 1986 passed away suddenly at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from septic shock. She was 25 years old. Born to Abigail Howell and Charles Sims, Ashley was a beautiful, happy young woman with a unique, positive spirit that uplifted everyone she met. Her smile was contagious and her laughter was infectious. She worked as a medical receptionist for a pediatric office in Fremont and enjoyed being around her co-workers and helping parents and patients alike. She was a huge fan of music of every genre and loved to dance. She enjoyed meeting new people, making new friends and made her family her number one priority. In her loving memory, an open viewing will be held on Thursday, March 8th at the Santos-Robinson Mortuary from 2pm until 8pm with a vigil service starting at 7pm. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 9th at Saint Leander's Catholic Church at 9:30am with a gathering immediately following the mass at the Saint Leander school gym, located directly across the street from the church.
