Mr. Aubrey was a funny, kind hearted man who NEVER met a stranger. Once you were greeted with a kiss on the forehead delivered via a light slap of his hand, you were destined to never forget him. I was saddened to hear of his passing, but I have comfort in knowing that he was greeted with a "Well done my GOOD and FAITHFUL servant," as he was reunited with his beloved Mary. My prayers and love continue to go out to the family.

Dr. Hawkins was a man of great vision, real action, and tireless energy. He was always kind, always personal, and always encouraging. All of us who serve in collegiate ministry, whether we know it or not, stand on the strength of his work and dedication. I think of him often and always smile and am always grateful for his life and to have known him.

I am very saddened to hear of Dr. Hawkins' passing. Our world was a brighter and happier place through his presence here. I met him through my service at the Georgia Baptist Convention and found that we shared the same birthday. He and I often joked about being brother and sister, and he enjoyed teasing me, calling me Maypop. He was a dear, kind man and all who knew him were blessed through his joyful and energetic spirit. Dr. Hawkins, I will miss you!

Heaven is a better place now that Aubrey has joined Mary there. He was so much a part of my formative years and I treasure that and loved him so much. May God comfort you as you grieve.

Aubrey or "Mr. Hawkins" as I called him was a long time supporter of the Seymour family. I have great memories of his entire family having dinner at his home which was at the time "out in the country". I especially enjoyed his dry wit and humor. Mr. Hawkins was one of the Classics in Roswell and will be missed. Love to all the Hawkins kids. Stuart Seymour

Linda, Carol and Lamar, you are in my prayers as you deal with Aubrey's passing. He was always so kind to me and I'll always remember his wonderful sense of humor. I know that he's so happy now that he's been reunited with his beloved Mary and his Lord, Jesus.
Love, Cynthia
