HANLEY, Audrey Elizabeth
July 14, 1934 – March 29, 2014
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Audrey Elizabeth (nee Perkins) Hanley on Saturday, March 29, 2014 in her 79th year. Audrey was born July 14, 1934 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Ted and Anna Perkins. Beloved wife of the late Carmond Hanley (2000) for 42 years, their children will deeply miss their loving mother; Doreen and her husband John Klassen, Viv Hanley, Dallas Price, Fred Hanley (Jackie) and her absolutely adoring grandchildren: Sheena, Mark, Jessica, Rylee (great-granddaughter), Nichole and Kevin Klassen, Quinn and Netanya Hanley along with "Milky" Audrey's beautiful white dove. Audrey is also survived by two sisters, Doreen Broadbent and Carol Santa; sister-in-law Bev Perkins-Stelter, brother-in-law Gerry (Dorothy) Hanley and many special nieces and nephews who Audrey thought so fondly of. A heartfelt thank you to Mom's dearest friends: Laura, Brenda and Kathy. Thank you to Care to Share Senior Services who helped keep her independence and accompanied her on appointments as well. A Memorial Service will be held at Eden Brook Funeral Home on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers our family would like to encourage you to please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.edenbrookcemetery.ca. Arrangements entrusted to EDEN BROOK FUNERAL HOME and RECEPTION CENTRE (17 Avenue S.W. and Lower Springbank Road).

Dear Doreen, Vivian and Butch,
I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Being that I grew up as next door neighbors to your family, I have many memories of her and all of your family. And when I was a child, your house was like a second home to me. Seems not that long ago when we were all kids, but the years go by fast, and then we get to the age (that I am now) where we see those we knew depart and leave this world, and we are reminded that life really is transitory and temporary. And that time comes for all of us to go to our Heavenly home, where we will be united with our loved one again some day. You will all see your Mom and Dad again at that Heavenly reunion. Until then, God bless. May God hug your hearts and fill them with hope and love, as you go through this difficult time.

Your neighbor and friend,
Valerie Olorenshaw (Raymont)
