Austin Cochran Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 27, 2018.
Austin Blake Cochran was born on May 11, 1988 and left this life on December 23, 2018. Austin embraced all the qualities that most of us strive for on a daily basis. He was known to be kind and gentle, very generous, always giving even when he had nothing for himself. Austin's love was so pure, it did not matter what situation – no one was to feel unloved. The most admirable character of Austin, since childhood, was that he never said anything without thought; what a tremendous gift that many saw in him. Austin was known and appreciated for being a great listener. Most individuals would be thinking about how to respond before the person stopped talking; but Austin always listened and waited with his response because there was intention and meaning behind what he said.
Austin was known as an active person who loved to spend time in nature. As a child he was seen on a bike or skateboard. As he grew he advanced his skills in riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, fishing and exploring everything around him. Austin made the most of his days, filling them up with his adventures. His adventures could take him anywhere from the desert where he enjoyed camping and riding, to the mountains where he used his abilities as a snowboarder in the winter. In the summer he was a skilled hiker and fisherman. Austin was a person that filled the room not with his voice; but with his love. Austin also loved to work with his hands and began working on anything he could find, once he was old enough to drag it home. As a child, he brought home more than a TV or two with determination to fix them. His passion for fixing things served him well as his life progressed; he would fix his own dirt bikes, cars, and equipment and used his learned knowledge to help others.
Austin attended Valley College making the Dean's List each semester. He helped in caring for his beloved Nana all the way through to her passing. Austin is survived by his Mother, Misti, his three Sisters, Jessica, Candis, and Britini and his 5 nieces and nephews, Hannah, Chase, Baker, Gavin, and Taylor.
