I was on new hall lane when Austin was having the dental practice renovated. I was one of his first patients there. His work was always excellent and of very high quality. God bless him in Heaven.

Only just heard of Austin's sudden passing. I was a patient of his for over 35 years when his practice was in New Hall Lane. We shared a common love of all things Italian and had some really interesting conversations. He was an exceptional individual, extremely amiable and professional at the same time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they journey this painful time.

Sincere condolenses to all his family. Only just heard the sad news. Austin was my dentist for nearly 30 years. He restored my faith in dentists and was a wonderful man who helped me through many emergencies. He opened his surgery out of hours a few times for me. I will always remember his kind frendly face and his help.Rest in peace...you went too soon.

I knew Austin before he moved to Camden Place. I was one of his first patients at his previous place of work. When he moved and set up Camden Place, I followed and became a patient there.

We were a similar age and we got on. He was a lovely man, chatty and friendly, kind and funny. And an excellent dentist of course. I used to actually enjoy, almost look forward to, going to the dentists because of Austin, we sparked off each other and made each other laugh.

Once when I had a bad toothache he opened up his practice on a Saturday afternoon and interrupted his weekend to come in to work from home, just to treat me.

I got to know him outside work early on. He was a keen cyclist and used to be very encouraging and very admiring of me back in the day when I was a hill runner.

I bumped into him intermittently after he retired. The last time I saw him was on Xmas Eve 2019, in the local pub. He came in and patted me on the stomach and, grinning, said: Alright big fella?' Taking the mickey as usual.

I was very sad, shocked to hear the news this morning. Still am.

My condolences to Austin's family and friends and colleagues. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

I remember Austin from when I first went to the surgery on Winckley Square, just a young man of 24 as he was then. He was so good a dentist and always welcomed me with a big and welcoming smile.
He will be so sadly missed and fondly remembered by all those who were fortunate to have known him.
My condolences and thoughts are with his grieving family at this sad time. I will light a candle and say a prayer at Holy Mass for the safe journey of his precious soul.
Deo gratias.X

Austin. Many years of valued friendship. You always had a smile and a mischievous twinkle in your eyes. Lots of good memories from university times. A one off who will be sadly missed by many. Gary S
