Autumn Larkin Obituary
Ms. Larkin was born in Englewood, NJ and had been a resident of Closter, NJ, before moving to Port Saint Lucie, FL, twenty-five years ago.
She worked as a registered nurse for St. Lucie Medical Center.
Ms. Larkin is survived by her mother, Joanne Larkin, and many, many special friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 8:00 PM, at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Ms. Larkin's honor to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5090 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981 or Dogs and Cats Forever, 9550 Carlton Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987

I worked with you at UMC a couple of years ago. I remember the night you and Chrystal and I went out clubbing till four a.m. You were alot of fun and a great nurse and I learned a lot from you. I am so sorry you are gone but I know you lived a wonderful life and gave so much to others. God bless you Autumn.

Dearest Autumn,
You have touched so many lives, and will be missed by all who loved you. Your strength and spirit was so amazing to me, fighting your cancer, and living your life. I laugh and cry at the same time, as I write this, as you were always late for work, working opposite shifts from you, but way, way, way too early in leaving this world. Dear Autumn,
My best friend of 25 years is now my guardian angel...I treasure the memories of the past 25 years but I treasure most the memories of the past four months....I have in my car the gas/fish bag of change that you gave me so I can drive you around to buy fish. I have the red blanket on my bed that brought you so much comfort these past few weeks and I have in my heart the words of those late night conversations that we had. I am going to miss you so much because we had so many things that we were going to do but I know that it will have to wait until I can join you again...I miss you and love you. I found this statement that I believe best defines us, "we are best friends because our parents couldnt handle us as sisters!"

I've said my good-byes to Autumn. I want to remember her sitting in the chair in the living room and me on the footstool. The windows open and the soft breeze coming through. I want to remember her smiling face even though she was in pain. I want to remember her having dinner with Kevin and I at the Olive Garden. I just want to ALWAYS remember Autumn. I am going to sit on the patio with a glass of wine and pretend she is here. I going to thank God for allowing us the time we had with Autumn.
