ANUSZKIEWICZ BARBARA R.
Age 93, of West Mifflin, originally of Glassport, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home Friday, May 5, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Nesterak) Siudyla; wife of the late Thomas W. Anuszkiewicz; mother of Dr. Thomas M. (Donzella) Anuszkiewicz, of Akron, OH, Donna M. (late Harry) Everett, of Elizabeth and Richard M. (Phyllis) Anuszkiewicz, of West Mifflin; grandmother of eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Rejkowski, Jean Klimek, Olga Kuchinski, Marie Tyszkiewicz, and Rita Zyra; and brothers, John, Michael, Stephen, Onifer, Nicholas, Joseph, and Peter Siudyla. Barbara, first and foremost was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her life for her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara had worked at the Holiday House in Monroeville as banquet waitress, was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church, past member of Christian Mothers and Rosary Society. She also was an election worker for the Borough of Glassport. Friends received WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 640 Vermont Ave., Glassport, Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 a.m. in Queen of the Rosary Parish with Rev. Wojcicki. Interment following in St. Mary's Polish Cemetery, White Oak.
