Barbara (Bobbie) Johnson Batiste entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Canon Hospice. Wife of the late Lawrence Batisite. Mother of Laura Batiste and the late Dwayne Batiste and Eugene Batiste. Daughter of the late Jules Lee Johnson and Nadage Thomas Johnson. Sister of Alvin Johnson, Stanley Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Carl Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Evangelist Eula Brooks, Willia Smith, Ann Jones, Jules Washington, and the late Marvin Jones and Loise Johnson Green, also survived by 3 grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 74 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the graveside at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, La. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Melvin Zeno officiating.
