It has been about 45 years since I last saw Barbara. Her name came up in my memory today and I decided to google her. I was delighted to see her looking so well in pictures... a lot like she look many years ago, when we first met on a study trip to Colombia. I am so sad to hear that she died several years ago now. George, we met a few times while in DC in the late seventies, I think. I do not know if you remember us. We remember you. We knew Barbara was in good hands with you. We are so sorry for your loss. I can hear her laughter as if it was yesterday. I am so sorry we lost touch. Life happens. And now she is gone. So so sad. Hugs from Kathleen O'Doherty O'Donnell and John O'Donnell

A star went dark. So many good memories of Barb from my days in Regent Square and 14th Ward Club. She rose above petty politics with laughter, intelligence, and grace. George, my condolences to you and your family.

I was saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. She was a high school classmate at Notre Dame Academy in Washington, D.C. She had a warm spirit and a great sense of humor. She will be sorely missed at our reunion gatherings.
