Heaven gained another beautiful angel who was our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and grandmother who unexpectedly passed away on Friday May 30, 2025 @12:01 pm in Magna, UT at the age of 65 years young.

Not only was she beautiful, but smart, kind, graceful and so much more! Everywhere she went, she would run into somebody she knew and they would know it's her because of her very well-known distinctive laugh that was also contagious and brought on many smiles. Her presence had an elegant spirit that one could feel. She loved going out just to meet new people and make new friends.

She loved watching sports, going to some games with her kids, as well as watch her kids play in their own sports, dance and play music.

She also had a love for dogs, including (Blanca and Teddy) with whom she reunited with and Lil Pup who will be cared for by family.

She was into black and collecting skulls. She worked at many different banks for many years. She just retired in November 2024 after working at UPS for 19 years.

She also had a love and a big heart for kids so much, she had done joy school and turned it into an in home day care. She had many kids come and go for over 20 years. She would always treat every kid as if they were her own.

Now her love for music was always there. But she really got into the heavy rock and metal. She was an avid concert goer. Always going to many big celebrity concerts and to many local concerts where many people got to know her as she always did what she could to support all the local Salt Lake City Utah, music industry and would tell them to keep rocking on!

The number one thing though that brought her most joy, is the joy and love to and from her grandchildren. She would do anything just to see and love them unconditionally.

Barbara is survived by her 4 children: Loni Hudson, Randi Lamm, Dylan ( Shaynie) Dawes, Nikki ( Alysia) Dawes and 5 grandchildren: Cash Brunyer, Keegan and River Hudson, Greenlee and Everlee Petersen. She is also survived by her Mother: Luella Barton and siblings: Sheila (Craig) Jacobs, RaeElla (Jerry) Julian, Robert (Rebecca) Barton, LRay (Kari) Barton and Cheryl Barton-Tamez.

She is preceded in death by her Dad Lonnie Ray Barton and her sister Debbie

There will be no funeral services per her wishes, so we will be doing a Celebration of Life. Info on that is still in the works.

Hi Randi and family, I want you to know how sad I was to hear this news. I never really worked side by side with her but, I knew who she was. Since that time we have been friends with her on facebook. I will miss her sense of humor. I wish I could be there for her remembrance, but, I can´t make it at this time. Prayers for healing. Worked with Barbara for several years at UPS and became friends. As an old lady, Barbara always showed up on time and out worked many of our stronger and younger coworkers. We enjoyed talking about politics and sports. I´m devastated and hurt Barbara passed without a proper goodbye but that´s how it goes sometimes. Hope Barbara´s in a better place and knows she´s loved. She´s amazing, kind and sensitive. If it´s possible I´d love to have Barbara visit me as a ghost, she knows where I live. RIP beautiful woman. Hunter, Cosmo and I love you Barbara.

Always enjoyed her company during our days of being roadies for our kid's band's. It always amazed me when she would open the back of her van, and they had Dylans drum set in there! She was so proud to help him haul it into the venue. We enjoyed many battle of band's together as we watched our kid's. \../ Rock On! Until we damn again! Love, Cindy Walker

Barbara was a gentle soul. Although I haven´t seen her for many years, I still remember her as being a kind and loving friend.

Barbara or "Gramma B" as my kiddos called her, will be very missed. She always went out of her way to check in on the kids, see what they had been up to, interests, etc. Although we were shocked by her sudden departure, we appreciate all the happy memories we were able to make with her, and send virtual hugs to her family.
