B.J., as I called her, was always a friend first, even though we saw very little of each other. A sweet, unassuming woman with simple tastes, she lived a good life and was one of the kindest people I ever knew. Rest in peace Barbara Jean, you will be missed.

Barb was such a sweet lady. She and several of her Boehringer Mannheim Co workers started a friendship garden. We would bring in starts from our gardens and give them to each other. It was one of my most beautiful gardens and all thanks to Barb.
Sending my deepest condolences to the Martin family.
