Barbara M. Ryan (Clark)

A lifelong resident of Arlington, Barbara M. Ryan (Clark), 82, passed away peacefully on February 13th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late John J. "Jocko" Ryan Jr. and devoted mother of Karen Malatesta of Wrentham, Kim Callahan and her husband Joe of Haverhill, and John J. Ryan III and his wife Olga of Tucson, AZ. Barbara was a loving grandmother to Tara Cowan, Nick Malatesta, Sally, Grace, and Jack Ryan, and the late Joseph Finn. She is also survived by many other cherished family members and friends.

Barbara enjoyed her time working at the Brackett School in the Town of Arlington. She will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and deep love for her family.

Visiting hours will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, on Friday, February 21st , from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by a service at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.

Thank you Mrs Ryan! You touched so many lives, especially the little ones, in the little ways you may have thought we didn´t notice or appreciate (or remember). Guess what? We did! It was just you being the wonderful and kind person you are.

Deepest condolences to the family and friends of such a beautiful person.

It will never be forgotten how you scared us in your witches costume! I don´t think Mr Sammarco ever forgot either!
