I had the pleasure of playing with Bart for 1 season. I swear I thought the kid was invincible. There was nothing that he feared, and was a quiet leader. I have never seen a team rally around one individual as they did Bart. It is a testament to his soul. I know everyone of us, this includes anyone who has ever played with Bart, loved Bart and always will. As our lives go on, Bart will never be forgotten. There are not many players that can say they were intentionally walked with 2 outs in the 1st inning of a baseball game. That is how much respect Bart had as a player.

I was saddened to here from my working partner Kreg of the passing of your son Bart. I know all too well the pain and suffering that it takes on parents as i saw mine go through it with my kid sister in 92'. Certainly, had i been aware i would have come to pay my respects as you are kind and generous people, and you deserve at least my respect and condolences.

I am so shocked to hear of Bart's passing. Bart was an extraordinary talent and I always hoped that he would reach his dreams. He was a top notch competitor and I will always remember some of those long home runs he hit for us at CSCC. It was a privilege for me to be part of his life. As a coach you always hope for the best for each kid and you hope you can make some kind of difference in their life. I wanted to let you know that Steve came to the funeral home today on his lunch hour, and waited in line for almost an hour. However, he had to return to work for a meeting before getting to see you.
