Beatrice Cummins Obituary
Bea was born November 10, 1921 in Sac County, Iowa. a daughter of William and Wilhelmina (Brown) Stadlman.
She was married on February 24, 1946 in Sac City, Iowa to Earl Cummins, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2000.
Bea began her professional career as a teacher before she went into social work for over 35 years retiring in 1988 from the District V Division of Family Services with the State of Missouri.
Survivors include: three sons, Gene Cummins (wife Diane) of Boonville, Mo., Gary Cummins (wife Pamela) of Sunrise Beach, Mo. and Todd Cummins of Jefferson City, Mo.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and another great-grandson due in April.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Earl Cummins; one son, Craig Cummins on March 26, 1976; two brothers, Gaylord and Paul Stadlman; one sister, Helen Derr.
Visitation will be at Wesley Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 with her funeral service following at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Graveside service and interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Wesley Methodist Church, 2727 Wesley Street, Jefferson City, Mo. 65109.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
