KELCHER, Beatrice (Daisy) (nee Fitsell)
Died peacefully on January 18, 2013 in her 98th year, strong of mind and spirit to the end. Aunt of Bill, Stan and Frank Fitsell and the late Ruth Anderson; great (and we mean great) aunt to Sharon Black, Bobby Anderson, Carol Anne Fitz-Robb, Diane Bell, Joann Fitsell, Gay Fitsell, Jan Marie Sibiga, Lynn Allen, John and Craig Fitsell, Janet Wild, Sandy Sullivan and Tom Fitsell; great-great-aunt of too many to list. Auntie Bea was a stalwart of St. Anne's Anglican Church and Pilot. She had a long career with Woolworth's, Radio Valve and Meadows Brokerage. Now she joins her beloved Jack, her husband of 15 years who died in 1961. She was predeceased by her brothers George Fitsell of Gladstone Avenue in Toronto, for whom she cared for many years and Jack Fitsell of Pottinger Street in Lindsay. She lived an old-fashioned life of modesty and service, mixed with a flair for colourful clothing and good humour in all she did. Interment Monday, January 21st at noon in Park Lawn Cemetery, Bloor at Prince Edward Drive; Celebration of Life at St. Anne's Anglican, Gladstone Avenue, north of Dundas, Wednesday, January 30th at 6:00 p.m. followed by High Tea for Bea.
