Beau Alan Andersen, our beloved companion, brother, father, son and friend went home to meet his Heavenly Father and Brother Jesus Christ on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Baker, Montana. I am sure he was met by his mother Debbie and grandparents Bert and Emma Delay and Merlin and Margaret Andersen and his aunt Sharon Beauchamp.
Beau was born to Elmer and Debra Sue Delay Beauchamp on November 24, 1981 in Glasgow, MT. Debbie and Elmer divorced and she eventually moved to Plentywood, MT where she met an old friend Dale M. Andersen. They were married on April 23, 1985 and Dale became the proud father of Beau and his sister Tanya. Then suddenly on December 19, 1987, on the evening of the Christmas program, our lives changed forever as Tanya and Beau’s mother passed of a fatal epileptic seizure. In that season an extra special bond was formed between us as we loved each other through it. Beau and his sister Tanya would see me start to grieve, would crawl in my lap and hug me, and say we love you dad and we would all cry together. The Love of Christ. His dad Dale remarried in 1990. Many happy times were had with gramma Emma Delay and the Solberg, Delay and Ator cousins also with grampa Merlin and gramma Margaret Andersen. Also with the Berglee Boys, Landon, Seth and Zach. Beau would say “those Berglee boys really know how to play” and the Berglee’s would say of Beau and his sister “those Andersen’s really know how to play.”
In the early days we would look out the window and see the kids running and playing in the hills with Beau in the lead and Landon, Seth and Zach following. In later years hunting together and working cattle. One story was brought to my attention one time the Berglee’s were here and Beau had a snowmobile and was using a snowbank as a ramp jumping a barbed wire fence. That worked so well the next trip Beau pulled Seth behind on skis with a rope. The jump over the fence for both was successful.
As a young teen Beau made the most important decision of his life and committed his life to Jesus Christ and received Jesus and his finished work as his own. Which would sustain and keep Beau through good times and hard times through his joys and sorrows and prepare him to make that step into eternity into the Father’s Everlasting Arms.
Beau worked various jobs and he was not afraid of hard work. He loved concrete and was skilled in all phases from demolition to cutting, site preparation, forming, reinforcing, pouring, finishing and decorative concrete work. He could roof, frame and was skilled in most phases of construction.
Beau also worked the oilfields and worked for many different drilling companies including old Outlaw Company, Cyclone, Pioneer, Patterson and Stoneham, to name a few.
He worked floors, motors, derricks and at one point was being broke out as a driller but the oilfield crashed so he went back to construction. He also worked as a cook with Sierra stating that no one could cook like Beau. Beau worked hard and sometimes played hard.
Beau met Megan Layton and infant son Mathew Davis in Portland, OR. They entered into a relationship and he became dad to Matt and his daughter Hannah was born. That relationship came to a close. Later Beau met Sierra Abrams and they fell in love. They have been together for four or five years loving and caring for one another and building a life together where Beau became a good buddy with Sierra’s boys.
Beau was preceded in death by his mother Debra Sue Andersen and Beau’s biological father Elmer Beauchamp; grandparents Bert and Emma Delay, Merlin and Margaret Andersen, and John Grefe; aunts Judith Crowder and Sharon Beauchamp.
Beau is survived by Sierra Abrams, his significant other, and her boys Bentley and Tavin; his children Matthew Davis and Hannah Andersen; his sister Tanya and husband Matthew; his father Dale M. Andersen and step-mother Cindy Andersen and their children Christian and Grace; his step-grandmother Johnette Grefe; uncles and aunts: Ken and Jan Delay; Bob and Myrna Delay and their children Aaron and Nathan; Steve and Katherine Delay; Kathy Diederich; Wes Solberg and their children Brad and Brian; Mark and Cheryl Delay; Barbara Anderson and her children Rachel and Royce; Mark and Tulin Andersen and their children Soren and Sevgi.
Beau will be remembered for his huge kind heart, bright contagious smile and the shine in his eyes. We love and miss you Beau and wish you were here. A part of our hearts left with you. We Love You, We Love You, We Love You! We don’t say good bye but see you later.

I had the pleasure to work with Beau. He is one of the better hands I have run across. Quietly did his job to perfection, in challenging conditions, without any complaints. Amazing person and I am blessed to have known him.

Beau was a good guy, for sure. I'm sure I will see him sometimes on Mann road in his firebird because that's where I remember him as happy as a person has ever been.

Prayers for all, it's never easy to loose a son. I pray the love of Jesus and the love you have for him will someday lesson the hurt in your heart and consume you with peace.
