Carole, my deepest condolences to you and the family on Ben's passing. What a fight he put up; what a legacy he leaves. The distance of these many miles don't diminish my sadness, in my thoughts I am often still there in good old Vancouver.

Ben was in my home room at Vancouver Technical a long time ago.. 1952/53 I think. He was always that kind, friendly person, and when I saw him again at Van. Tech's Reunion on April of 2005, Ben was the same as ever.. I got to shake his hand, and we shared a few memories.. Rois

Dear Kelley and family
We are saddened to hear about the loss of your dad. We know that family was everything to him, and he was lucky to have all of you in his life as you were to have him in yours. Live life one day at a time and know that he will always be with you in your heart and watching over all of you.

I cant believe my Grandpa is gone..
He was the most amazing man.. He always did everything for everyone else first.
He loved his family more then anything.
We were his pride and joy.
I dont want to go on without him.
I miss him every second of everyday.
Grandpa, we will take care of Grandma..
I love you forever and always..
Your now the angel watching over me.

Carole, in the handful of times I enjoyed social engagements with you, Ben and my parents I always enjoyed Ben's company. He was so much fun to be around. As I walk along Alderside I will miss seeing Ben drive by; always with a smile on his face.
Sincerely,
Krista Langtry (Dennett)

Dear Kelley ~ What I will remember most about your dad was his enduring joie de vivre; he always laughed easily, heartily, and often (and God knows, he had to to stay sane through all our teenage years!)
Ben's larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family during this sad time.
Love,
Shelly

Kelley and family:
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad.
Life brings tears,
smiles and memories.
The tears dry,
the smile fades,
but the memories
live on forever.
Please know we are thinking of you at this time.
