Bennett Hooks Obituary
Virginia Beach - Bennett Hardy Hooks, Sr., 92 passed away on February 4, 2013.
Mr. Hooks was born in Freemont, NC and was preceded in death by a son Bennett H. Hooks Jr. He was a carpenter and many of the buildings and structures stand in testament to his talent and craftsmanship. He will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Aleathia Esther Hooks, two sons Roy V. Hooks and wife Veronica of Norfolk, VA, and William Ruffin Hooks of Durham, NC. There are three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be private.

Roy and Billy,I am so sorry,you know how much Uncle Ben meant to me and mother. I will miss our short weekly phone calls but now he is with her and they can talk about those Atlanta Braves every day like they use to.
