Brenda, Bernie, Lisa and Lori;

Please know that your dad was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He had a great influence on me, and his kindness, generosity, and willingness to teach when I was young had a profound positive effect on who I grew up to be. His generosity towards my family and helpfulness through tough times will never be forgotten and neither will his great sense of humor with such quips as "You think everything is a joke!" as he would say over and over.

I regret not having the poetic prowess or sufficient ability to be able to properly thank him or you for what I consider a great honor-- to have known him and to have been associated with his strength, talents, and most of all, his smile.

I love you all, again please accept my sincerest sympathies.

Bernie Haney
