Bernardo Peralta Obituary

Age 76 of Hammonton NJ passed away Monday Sept. 3 2007 at Cooper University Hospital.
Bernie graduated from medical school at the University of Santo Tomas Manila Philippines in 1955. He did his rotating internship in Bronxville NY followed by his residency for internal medicine at St. Luke's Hospital and Methodist Hospital. Dr. Peralta became a Staff Physician at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital from 1968-1978.
He then took on the position of Medical Director at Vineland Developmental Center from 1978-1992 as well as Medical Director for the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland from 1992-1998. Dr. Peralta was a member of the Camden County Medical Society President of the Philippine Medical Society of NJ 1999-2000 and Board Governor for the University of Santo Tomas Medical Alumni Association in America.
Predeceased by his son Benjamin he is survived by his loving wife Consuelo 'Ching' son Bernard of Hamm-onton NJ favorite daughter Cindy Bachen of Davie FL and son in law Steve Bachen. Loving Grandfather of Coral and Stevie Bachen. Dear brother of Johnny and his favorite sister in law Selfa Peralta of Shamokin PA Rufo and Lolita Peralta of Staten Island NY Jenny and Mely Peralta of Staten Island NY. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his viewing on Fri. eve. 6:30 - 9:00pm and Sat. after 8:30am at the MARINELLA FUNERAL HOME 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat. 10:00am St. Martin de Porres Church S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton NJ.
