BERNHARD KOWALSKI Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Monika Kowalski (nee Gervais). Loving father of Heidi Lansky (Gregory), Christina Carisse (Jean) and Sandra. Cherished grandfather of Hailey and Riley. He leaves behind his much loved furry 4 legged friend Benji. He will be missed by his family in Germany, his parents-in-law Raymond and Françoise Gervais, his sister- in-law Diane (Terry Consack), Hélène (Pat McGlynn), his brother in-law Pierre (Luisa), the late Denis (Christina Gervais), his niece Nicole (Rob Baker), his nephews Mathieu (Luisa), Adam (Sabrina), Patrick and many friends. Sincere thank you to Dr. Coulombe and the Bayshore Health Care Hospice Palliative Care team for their great care and compassion. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd, Orléans (Ottawa), on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Ceremony will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 2 p.m. Condolences may be offered online at: www.heritagefh.ca

I am sending my love to you all. I was very fond of your dad. I used to love visiting with you all on Christmas Eve when we were younger and loved having bbq at your house. Best damn steak I ever had! I also remember how much you guys loved him, and how much he loved you. He will be missed.
