Bernice Shapiro Obituary
ANDOVER — Bernice L. Shapiro, 86, a former Andover and Delray, Fla. resident, beloved wife, extraordinary mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday morning, Sept. 22, 2009.
Born and educated in Riverdale, N.Y., Bernice was a mother to her children and an award winning real estate broker for Victor Co. of Andover for over 20 years.
She leaves her sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Debbie of Winchester, Steve and Susan of Purchase, N.Y. and Mike and Karen of Pelham, N.H.; her grandchildren, Dan, Adam, David, Brad, Melissa; and her great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jeremy.
She will be loved forever and missed even longer.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Sept. 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Temple Emanuel, Andover. Burial will follow in Temple Emanuel Cemetery, Lawrence. Following the funeral services, a memorial observance will be held at the residence of Michael and Karen Shapiro, 5 Stephanie Drive, Pelham. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester, 311 North St., Suite 204, White Plains, NY 10605.
