THOMASTON - Mrs. Bertice Webb Ivey, age 58, who resided at 3257 Crest Highway in Thomaston, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Macon Medical Center. The family may be contacted at the home of her son, Anthony "Tyrone"Bloodser at 414 East Lee Street in Thomaston.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the Macedonia Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Culloden City Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Johnson, Sr. is pastor and Dr. Eric Calhoun will be the Eulogist. Family and friends will be served food following the service at the Macedonia Baptist Fellowship Hall.
Mrs. Ivey is survived by two children: Anthony "Tyrone" (Venus) Bloodser and Angela "Morn" Bloodser of Thomaston; six grandchildren: Jarius Bloodser, Marnecia Williams, Tre'Von Bloodser, Kingston Harris, Jasmine Crawford, and Vernderius Bloodser; two great-grandchildren: Skylar Crawford and Harmony Crawford; sisters: Elmmina Haygood (Calvin Haygood, Sr.) of Culloden, Ga., Mary Ann Ivey (Aubrey Ivey, Sr.) of Logtown community; one brother: William (Evelyn) Webb of Yatesville, Ga.; very devoted shopping companion Shirley Green (Gus) of Thomaston, Ga.; a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly
