Beryl STUBBS Obituary
STUBBS Beryl (nee Good) 1921 - 2009 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on the evening of Monday, November 30, 2009 in Surrey, BC. Beloved wife of 63 years to George Edward, cherished mother to Trevor (and Karen), Virginia (and Gordon Keast) and Martin (and Jacqueline); grandmother to Ben, Christina, Jesse, Corinna, Morganne, Lauren and Eden. Fondly remembered by brothers Don (and Mildred) and Howard (and Rose). One of the Good Girls from Lethbridge, Alberta, Beryl fell in love at the roller skating rink and after the war, moved with Edward to the coast to raise their children in Vancouver's West Point Grey, and dote on her grandchildren from their warm and welcoming home in Fleetwood, Surrey. Gentle and loving, Beryl will be missed by all who knew her. Her Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Fraser Heights Chapel in Surrey. In lieu of flowers, and in remembrance of Beryl's courage, humour and quiet strength, donations may be directed to the Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC). The family would like to thank the staff of Ambleside, Fleetwood Place for their support and compassion.

I recall a gentle lady who put up with Ed and Ginny rallying in the Volvo 544. And I recall a delicious meal she prepared for Ed, Larry More and me on one of Ed's decade birthdays.
