WILSON, Bethel Young, on February 4, 2010, surrounded by family and friends, Bethel passed away. Bethel was born August 15, 1926 to Robert and Mary Hoover in Cheraw, CO. She was the third of six children. She met and married Edward Young in 1947. They moved to Arizona in 1950 and she worked for years as a bus driver and cafeteria worker at Marana School. In the 1970s they moved to Safford. In 1979, Edward passed away and she went to work at Thatcher Building Supply until she retired in 1993. In 1994 she met and married Jessie Wilson and began another happy adventure. She had many loves in her life including sewing, quilting, bowling and watching her favorite teams, the Diamondbacks and Cardinals. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Herman and Floyd; her son, Robert and husbands, Edward and Jessie. She is survived by her sisters, Garnet Harlow, Sarah Wilson; her brother, Floyd Hoover; her children, Gerald (Phyllis) Young, Larry (Peggy) Young, David (Debbie) Young and Vera (John) Wells; grandchildren, Eddie Young, Sheila Arnette, Dawn Young Freccero, Robert Young, Jennifer Holman, David Young, Lisa Wells, Karen Deadmond and John Wells; great-grandchildren, Brett, Talon, Amakye, Sutton and Lucas Young, Calvin, Annabelle and Elizabeth Arnette, Brooke Holman, Eddie Freccero and Madison Deadmond. Bethel will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love and devotion to her family. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
