BETTY BOBECK Obituary
On the sunny afternoon of March 5, Betty Jane Bobeck, 77, closed her eyes for the last time and Jesus cradled her in His arms as He whisked her away to Heaven. Betty was the loving and well loved wife of the late Robert C. Bobeck and the adored sister of the late Janet R. Ihnatko. She leaves behind seven children, Valerie (John) Grice, Robert B. (Carol), Curtis (Daisy), Steven, Gary, Amy, and Douglas (Kathy) Bobeck. Betty leaves ten grandchildren, Brendon Webster, Erin Terry, Elizabeth DiStefano, Brian, Eric and Carla Bobeck, Timothy Whetstone, Jessica, Mason, and Connor Bobeck; also three great-grandchildren, Kloe and Brooke Terry, and Trinity DiStefano. Betty's family was her world! She was always ready to lend a hand and never too busy to lend an ear. She also worked for many years as a LPN, comforting and giving care to those in need, was an artist, loved flea markets, pecan pie and coffee, all things Pinocchio, flickering candles, and a good book. Betty loved trips to Atlantic City and the yearly family vacations to Ocean City, NJ, enjoyed discussing politics and golf and tending to her lovely garden. We would like to thank West Hills Health and Rehab for their very kind and gentle care in the last weeks of Betty's life here on earth. Betty, thank you for all you have done for all of us. We love you. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 12:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, Moon Township. Inurnment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hopewell Township. Arrangements by RD COPELAND INC., Moon Township.

All of us who are/are "Cooper cousins" knew your Mom and Grandma as "Betsy." Betsy and Janet and were always special to me growing up. Out of all our cousins on Daddy's side of the family (he was Uncle Joe), there are just 5 of us still living: my brother Larry, myself (Joan 'Carole'), and Uncle Leonard's 3 children: Barbara Wade, Patty Cooper and Michael Cooper. We're trying to get together, but our most recent attempt to meet in AZ didn't work out. Hopefully, we'll be able to do that later this year. Both my Larry and his wife and Patty and her husband live in that state. Michael and his wife live in southern CA, Barbara and her husband live in NC, and I live in Sebastian, FL.
As you continue to celebrate Betsy's life, know that my prayers are with you. How blessed you are to have had her for your Mother and Grandmother. I can only hope you who are her children remember her parents, my Aunt Betty and Uncle Al, such special people.

To All of Betsy's Beloved Family,
