What a special person she was! Betty and Nello were not only neighbors in the Ridge, they were part of the Sumner Family and my 2nd mom and dad! They came to all Sumner get togethers they could get to. Betty with her big smile and Nello with his camera!! What a blessing to have them in my life.

Betty and Nello were wonderful people, I'm glad I got to know them, was able to sit and talk a spell. Our condolences to the family.

Loved Nello and Betty like second parents to us Sumner kids. Were at their house all the time.

My father, Bill Sumner, has never stopped talking about you. You were an obvious positive force in his life, especially for a poor kid growing up in the Ridge. Thanks for showing him compassion and sharing a love of Italian food.

Wonderful, generous lady! She and Anello treated us with ice cream from their grocery store once when we Sumner kids helped them do yard work. They always made us feel important and special! Great smiles and laughs. They both will be truly missed and will forever be a delightful memory of my childhood. ❤ Betty Sumner Hudson

So many wonderful memories of you and Uncle Anello, playing music and hosting parties. My childhood would not have been the same without you, Aunt Betty. Love and miss you.
