When I think of Betty Boo, all I can think of is her shouting around the church. I use to say "there goes Betty" and she would shout until she could not shout anymore. Betty use to praise God like it was her last day on earth. I just want to say to the family that Betty was truly a real and loving individual and she will be missed. I love you all with all my heart.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Family of Ms. Betty Boo~
God has called my favorite person home. I loved to see Betty praise God. We sat next to one another and rode the church bus together. We would share our pennies so that both of us could give an offering. And when we found a quarter we would say eew girl we hit the jack pot. She taught me that God could take that little bit and turn it into much. Not very fashoned oriented, Betty would teach me what went with what. Very special and dear to God's own heart, Betty encouraged me by having such a drive for the Lord. She loved people and never indulged her self in gossip, backbiting, piety parties of any kind, or holding grudges. Betty was much loved and will be missed by many, and I know she is shouting on Gold Streets now...
May God wrap his loving arms around you and never let go, and cause his loving kindness to shine upon you both day and night.
with love,
Sister LaTonia L. Wallace

Hello Family
I just would like to say that I was so sad to hear about my spiritual daughter leaving us on the other day.
I will truly miss her, she brought so much joy to my family, she always had something good to say to us every time she saw us, she always called me Mom and she had a big smile on her face when she called me Mom. That smile I will keep and always remember her that way. You are in my prays today and forever.
Love You all

To the Cannon Family: I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Betty. She was such a sweet person; always had a smile on her face and boy could she get her praise on! Well the Lord saw fit to give her the ultimate gift this holiday season. Betty will definitely have a Merry Christmas and the Happiest New Year ever. I pray Betty's sweet memories and knowing she is in a better place brings some peace and comfort to her family. God bless

It's hard to say goodbye but when it's unexpected it's even more diffucult. I'm going to miss Betty's praise, sense of humor but mostly her presence. Sleep on my sister in Christ. I guess it was decided that you'll be with Christ this Christmas. May God be with the family in this hour of sorrow and I love you all.

Psalms 84:10 (KJV) For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Sis Betty was a wonderful doorkeeper/usher in the house of God. I will miss watching her praise the God of her salvation.
