Betty Ann Goodwin, age 84, of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on October 29, 2015.
Betty was born in Cotton Town, Tennessee, on August 11, 1931 to the late Thomas and Pearl Cole.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy T. Goodwin; brother, Kenneth Cole, and grandson, Travis Goodwin.
She is survived by a son, Glenn Goodwin (Tish); daughter, Terry Rogers (Fr. Stephen); two brothers, Russell Cole (Mildred) and Tommy Cole (Charlene); two sisters, Sue Walker (F. E.) and Dottie Pyburn (Billy); six grandchildren, Derrick Goodwin (Page), Brannon Goodwin (Erin), Nolen Balch (Samantha), Ashley Kevorkian (Dan), Rachel Rogers, Katie Roberts (Adam); and ten great grandchildren, Jake Ludovissie, Kennedy Goodwin, Nora Goodwin, Lola Goodwin Balch, Steven Kevorkian, Hanneh Kevorkian, Elena Kevorkian, Julian Roberts, Evie Roberts, and Audrey Roberts.
Betty was a devout Christian, devoted wife, and loving mother. She also loved to share her gift of artistic creativity with others.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home in Nashville. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 30, 2015 from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock. The family will also receive friends from ten o’clock in the morning until time of service on Saturday.
