Betty Jane Jardine, age 91, of Adrian, died on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Provincial House. She was born July 9, 1921, in Manchester Twp. to William and Myra (Conway) Viers. On October 24, 1942, she married Robert "Bob" Jardine and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1972. Betty was a member of TOPS. She loved to play Bingo, read, sew, and knit, especially afghans for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by her daughter, Diana (Steve) Echelbarger of Manitou Beach; daughter-in-law, Laurie Jardine of Adrian; grandsons, Brian (Candy) Jardine of Adrian and Chad Jardine of Temperance; four great-grandchildren, Jason (Courtney), Chris, Cody and Damien Jardine along with three step-great grandchildren, Jennifer, Angie and Reuben Garcia; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert "Bob" Jardine, three brothers, and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Adrian Anderson Funeral Home with Chaplain Bill Fink officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Adrian Anderson Funeral Home. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com.
