Beulah E. Perkins

Rye- Beulah E. Perkins, 92, of Central Road, died April 4, 2008 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born Oct. 17, 1915 in Milford, NH, she was the daughter of Walter K. and Daisy (Balcom) Flariday, and had lived most of her life in Rye.

Beulah was a graduate of The Nurses Academy at Peterborough, NH and went on to become an R.N., later on marrying the love of her life the late Floyd George Perkins, a sergeant in the tank core in World War II. Beulah enjoyed working many years with her son’s and daughter in a family swimming pool business in Rye. She also enjoyed reading and keeping up on the local and world news. She lived in the same house for over sixty years.

She was predeceased by her husband Floyd G. Perkins in 1976 and by her son, Fred Perkins.

Survivors include four children, James Perkins of Sarasota, FL, John Perkins of Moultonborough, Floyd Perkins Jr. of Rye and Cindy Lawrence of Newmarket; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. There are also additional family members in Canada.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Central Cemetery, Rye.
