Bev Price

Bev J. Price, age 77, of Reeseville and formerly of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2015 at her Home. The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. To honor Bev's memory, please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to The Gathering Source Food Pantry in Reeseville. Bev Jean Sazma was born on September 26, 1937 in Savana, Illinois to Thomas and Elsie (Oakes) Sazma. On October 18, 1960, she was united in marriage with Michael Price. Bev enjoyed bowling as well as going to Casinos and playing Bingo. She loved to travel, especially to Deadwood each year, or anywhere else her car would take her. Bev would camp at St. Germain each summer and considered other campers as her second family. In her 77 years of life she didn't really seem to slow down much. Each year she would go to Michigan and participate in the Mackinac Bridge Walk. She was currently working full-time at BASO Gas Products in Watertown. Bev is survived by her children, Billy (Theresa) Slade of Eatonton, GA, Deborah (Greig) Thompson of Harrisburg, MO, Michael (Lynda) Price of Beaver Dam, Jeri (Mark) Schlatter of Watertown, and Patty (Rory) Wianecki of Reeseville; sisters, Patricia (Arnie) Outzen and Barbara (Gene) Greene, both of Clinton, IA; sister-in-law, Leita Reinke of Ardmore, OK; special friend, Marie Drolshagen of Columbus; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several grand-dogs and grand-cats; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and granddaughter, Ginny.
