Beverly Godwin Obituary
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery in Doerun.
Born Oct. 2, 1940, in Brooks County, she was the daughter of the late James A. Woods and Belle Glausier Woods. She was a retired certified nurses aid and a member of Cotton Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Michael Keith Godwin Jr.
Survivors include a son, Mike Godwin of Moultrie; a brother, Jimmy Woods of Pelham; and a grandchild, Logan Keith Godwin.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
