Maryville - Beverly Jordan Hard, age 79, passed away peacefully at 8:17pm on Sunday, August 10 at home. Born on April 27, 1946, in Maryville, Beverly was one of six daughters of the late Arthur Troy and Mary Ruth Jordan. She was a graduate of Everett High School in Maryville. Beverly met the love of her life John Hard in Knoxville, TN. They were married in 1966 and made their home in Maryville. Beverly worked for The Military Entrance Processing Station, Mullican Lumber Company, and finally retired from Ruby Tuesday Corporate after many years of service. She was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched many lives with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. A proud and loving grandmother, Beverly found her greatest joy in watching her grandchildren excel in sports and all of their activities. She was their biggest cheerleader and never missed an opportunity to support and encourage them. Beverly was a faithful member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church where she and John loved listening to Pastor Anthony's sermons. Above all, Beverly will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generous spirit, and the joy she brought to the lives of everyone around her. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, sister Brenda Brookshire of Alcoa. Survivors include daughter Michele Krishnamoorthy and husband Kris of Knoxville, son Nicholas J. Hard of Maryville; grandchildren Kodie Hard, Karson Hard, Kaylor Hard, Kolby Krishnamoorthy, and Kase Krishnamoorthy; sisters Patricia Thompson and husband Richard of Friendsville, Judy Ailey of Maryville, Delores Jean Matthews and husband Sam of Maryville, Debbie Kirkland of Maryville, and many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held to honor her life and legacy. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Condolences may be shared through www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com.
