Beverly O'Toole Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 30, 2006.
O'Toole, Beverly Valentene (Nee Baer) A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, she passed to Eternal Life while surrounded by her loving family in her Oak Creek home June 27, 2006. Beverly is survived by her dear brother, Daniel (Mildred) Baer of Brookfield; her 4 loving children, Cameron Clickner of Denver, CO, Cindy (Dave) Markowski and Cory Clickner of Oak Creek and Casey (Debbie) Clickner of Franklin. her 5 devoted grandchildren, Amy, Cody, Curtis, C.J. and Blake; her adoring great-grandchild, Logan and other caring relatives and close friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry O'Toole with whom she found everlasting love. A charming sense of humor was only one of Beverly's many qualities. She had artistic talent and enjoyed painting. She also possessed a beautiful singing voice that was heard on stage, radio and in church choirs. Beverly was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 13, 1928 and graduated high school in Los Angeles. During Beverly's 78 years, she worked as a nursing home administrator in Illinois, Florida, Ohio and Wisconsin. She also belonged to an antique club and did volunteer work for Catholic charities at St. Francis Hospital and Sunrise Care Center. Later in life, Beverly battled poor health and had a kidney transplant in 2005. Even during her most trying days, Beverly continued to exude a caring, sympathetic spirit. A Memorial Visitation will be held Mon., July 3 at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7219 S. 27th St. from 9-10 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 AM. Beverly's family would like to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital for all their kind and dedicated care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Horizon Health Care and Hospice. Dear Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Always remember your mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, for the loving and generous person that she was. Remember all the happy times and know that she would always want you to smile in her memory.

God Bless,

I want to express my deepest sympathy in our great loss of your mother. She and her brother, Danny, were very close to our (Wolton) family. I will miss her very much and feel the loss deeply! Even though the miles separated us these last retirement years, we always got together in person at least once a year - and had many phone conversations throughout the year. She was my 1st cousin, with her father being my mother's brother. I am sending prayers for you during this time of sorrow!
