Beverly (Tier) Bartlett Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 21, 2025.
Beverly Ann Bartlett, 67, a lifelong resident of Melrose, MA, passed away on February 16, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Paul Bartlett, and devoted mother to Leah Bartlett and Matthew Bartlett and his wife, Jennifer. Beverly absolutely cherished her role as a grandmother to Tyler, Mason, Evan, and Noah Bartlett. She was also a loving aunt to Amy, Jon, and Kristina Anderson. She was the daughter of the late Grover and Alice Tier, and sister of David and Nancy. She is also survived by her loving mother-in-law, Eleanor West and aunt, Marie Pomer.

For 43 beautiful years, Bev and Paul built a world of shared dreams, quiet moments, and endless joy, finding adventure in the simplest of days. She was his greatest love and best friend and leaves behind a bond that will never be broken.

Beverly had always been the heart of her family, dedicating her life to raising her children with love, strength, and unwavering support. As her children grew, so did her passion for caring for others, leading her to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse to extend her nurturing spirit beyond her home.

She brought the spark of life and light into every room she entered, with her bright smile and infectious laugh, making everyone feel loved and uplifted. She didn't just live life, she illuminated it, leaving a glow in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though she has passed, her light remains a guiding force in the hearts of all those who loved her, illuminating their paths with the warmth of her kindness, wisdom, and love. As she always said, "It's not goodbye, it's see you later, alligator."

The family will hold a private memorial service to honor and celebrate Beverly's life, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Dear Aunt Bev,
Although you're not physically with us any longer you're caring and loving nature and the fun times you brought to us all will stay with me forever.
I will always remember the times you'd take me on rides in the blue Chevy nova to get a slush and we'd laugh at all the weird things and people we'd see on the ride.
Also the times we'd go to places like Caldor, not to buy anything but instead to pick up the store phone and prank the entire store staff. We were asked to leave these stores multiple times (Which was my favorite part).
The thing I loved about you the most was your great sense of humor. You always made me laugh.
I will never forget you and I cherish the time that I was able to spend with you.
Rest in peace.
Your loving nephew,
- Jon Anderson

I am so sorry to hear this. My heart hurts for all of you. So much of my childhood memories include Bev and you all. From the most delish tuna sandwiches to our hysterical prank calls to the summers we made the best memories. Sending you all the biggest hugs and so much love.

Bev, I am in a whirlwind of emotions. We were friends since 7th grade experienced so many wonderful times together over the years, you were my 3rd sister!
Looking back there is not a loving, fun, sad, scary or happy memory that you were not a part of. We were some crazy kids back in the day and that´s a good thing.
You will always be a part of me that I treasure, and wished we had that one last conversation.
My condolence to your family, Paul, Leah, Matt, and David should you ever need anything I´m here!

Im so sorry to hear of Beverly's passing. I had been trying to get in touch with her for a while. She visited me once in Raynham ma. Years ago,we became friends because of an illness I had ,chiari malformation. She wasn't sure if she had it also. We had talked on the phone everyday for quite a while and then left Facebook. She was an amazing woman, friend with a loving kind heart. I will miss her dearly. XO
