Larry, Billie was a wonderful Christian dynamo. Her love for Jesus, her enthusiasm and tremendous abilities made her so special to work with. I will always remember my time at CBS with great joy. I know she is greatly missed. I look forward to rejoicing with her in heaven. Kay and Mike Strauss

I remember warm meetings at HHCC, and also visiting with the Sheafes when in Virginia to see my parents who had settled nearby. It was beautiful to see the warmth and joy with which they both shared their time and their home, just as it was. It has always reminded me to be joyful in hospitality, no matter how humble or fancy the space I had to offer.

I remember a bubbly, sparkly lady in perpetual motion when I was in the university group at HHCC. I remember connecting with her in a way that was surprising from a young physics student to a mid-life mom. Billie was always so relatable, I think because she radiated trust to those around her. With Billie, you got the real thing. But despite that (or maybe because of that), she was almost always sunny and radiant and she invited you into that radiance. What an amazing blessing God created and graced us with. Rest in his Joy, Billie!

My first memory of Billie is when my brother brought his college girlfriend home to meet the family. I was 12 years old and very curious and excited. What a blessing it was in my life to not to long after have Billie become the sister I always wanted. She was always so patient and kind. When I talked to Billie I always knew she listened to every word I said. Her love for God, family and friends has always been inspirational. You are loved by so many and will be missed. God be with you till we meet again sweet Sister. Love, Margaret
