Judy, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We met in Lexington, KY when you and Bill came down for the weekend. I believe Bill flew down with Howard Schlechte. I remember Bill over eating Jalapena peppers must to his dismay. Bill was so much fun and always made any gathering more fun. Howard passed away this last May and I know how much you will miss Bill.

Judy,
I know this must be a very difficult time for you right now but God had an exceptional day on the 27th... He was truly a man among men and like a second father to me. As you know, we have enjoyed the love of both of you for so many years now...I always knew the holidays were getting upon us as you always were our first Christmas card of the season. We love you and our prayers will always be with you Judy. XO
Love,
Brad Torpey & family

I was blessed to know Bill "The Colonel" when I started my IBM career in St. Louis. He was always the consummate professional salesman and gentleman. We had some great successes together at Maritz, Scott Air Force Base. One of the hardest things I had to do was to tell him I was moving to further my IBM career. May you rest in peace, Bill. You were one of kind.

Judy
n behalf of myself and the Prayer Partners at the First Presbyterian church of Kerrville, Tx I am writing to let you know how sorry we are for the loss of Bill. He and I were in Men of Action together & it always pleased me to see him and enjoy having breakfast with him on Wednesday mornings.

It saddens my heart that Bill has passed. Even though he accomplished much there’s no doubt in my mind that what was most important is that he was the best husband and father you and his children could ask for and I’m sure you were a good wife to him. Also I have fond memories of our DBS sessions together.

In the NIV bible’s version of the introduction to the book of Job, the author‘s pastoral word to the godly sufferer is that his righteousness has such supreme value that God treasures it more than all. Thus the suffering of the righteous has a meaning and value commensurate with the titanic spiritual struggle of the ages.

Wayne and I remember Bill when the boys were playing Little Knights Football and all the fun we had on the weekends. Many parties were held at the house with Bill. I still remember the red shag carpet.

Dear Judy and family,

My personal prayers and those of my family are with you during the very unexpected time. Bill and I had so many wonderful talks and conversations about religion, politics, IBM, investing and about life. It was always so wonderful to get a call from Bill and learned so much from him over the past nearly 13 years. You are both such wonderful people and I will continue to pray and know that we have someone remarkable looking over us. God Bless, your friend, Paul

when I first moved to Houston, I was homeless and Bill and his wife Judy helped me out so much. They brought me to church every sunday and took great care of me. Bill was a great friend, awesome mentor, and one of God's own. God has a great angel with Him right now.
