Bob West Obituary

Robert Ernest "Bob" West Jr. was born in Cookeville, TN to Naomi Davenport West and Robert Ernest West Sr. on May 13, 1946. He started truck driving in high school and eventually founded his own trucking company, R. E. West. He married the love of his life, Reita Beth Stone of Hartsville, TN and together they raised a family and built a successful business. Bob loved to work, loved travel, and loved to be with his family. Together, Bob, Reita, Jenny, and Bill Bob traveled the country enjoying many wonderful times. Bob and Reita Beth were members of the United Methodist Church in Livingston, TN.
Bob is survived by his partner and wife of 53 years, Reita Beth West, children: Jenny West and Bill Bob (Kimberly) West; grandchildren: Bayley West, Kennedy (Jacob) Roller, Landry West, and Brody West. He is preceded in death by his parents Naomi and Ernest West, and mother and father-in-law Mary Elizabeth and William Stone of Hartsville, TN.
In leu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations to St. Jude's and/or Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

Talking about storytelling, Mr. Bob did it best! I could sit with him all day and listen to him talk and rest assured, he would if you let him! He mostly talked about his family whom he loves so much. I have laughed until I cried and have that one special story that I have always kept in my mind and smile every time I think of it and him.
Mr. Bob will never be forgotten and always loved.
