Bobbie Mayfield Obituary

Mrs. Bobbie Nell Mayfield, age 73, of Florence, formerly of Winfield, passed away Sunday night at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Mayfield was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Eva Willcutt; husband, Frankie James Mayfield; daughters, Belinda Townsend and Brenda Mayfield; brother, Orville Willcutt; and sisters, Annette Jones and Betty Miller.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Campbell, of Columbus, Ga.; sons, James T. Mayfield, of Florence, Jim Mayfield, of Killen, and Kim Wayne Mayfield, of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Harvey Woodford, Angey Mayfield, Chris Mayfield, Joey Mayfield, Timothy Kalkreuth, Daniel Campbell, Brandon Mayfield, Stacy Mayfield and Miranda Townsend; sisters, Polly Clark, Audie Johnson, Glenda Podmore and Ilene Wyers.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 31,2011, at Bowen Funeral Home chapel in Winfield, with burial to follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Chris Kemp and the Rev. Dale Boren will officiate.
Mrs. Mayfield enjoyed working as a caregiver, was a member of Florence Boulevard Church of Christ and enjoyed playing cards with her kids and family.
Special thanks to Dr. Matthews, Dr. Morris and the staff of third floor CCU at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, and to Charles and Rometa, J.B., Heather, Sandy and Brandy.
Mrs. Mayfield will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

To Jim,Barb and entire family,we want to express our heartfelt sorrow for the loss of your loved one.She was ready to go to be in a better place and we hope you can find peace now and in the times that will surely come knowing that.I had spoken with her on the phone a few times and met her once and she was a very kind and sweet lady.May God Bless you all and if there is anything any time of day or night that we can do for you, please know we are here for you.Love To You All
